Introduction of our PET Bottle Recycling Line

PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) bottle recycling is a critical process for reducing plastic waste and promoting a circular economy. A PET bottle recycling line involves several stages, including sorting, cleaning, shredding, washing, drying, and pelletizing, to transform used PET bottles into high-quality recycled PET (rPET) flakes or pellets. These recycled materials can then be used to produce new PET bottles, textiles, packaging, and other plastic products.  

Key Equipment in a PET Bottle Recycling Line

1. Conveyor Belt – Transports PET bottles to different processing stages.  

2. Sorting System (Manual/Automatic) – Removes non-PET materials (e.g., caps, labels, other plastics).  

3. Baler (Optional) – Compresses collected PET bottles for easier storage and transportation.  

4. Crusher – Breaks PET bottles into small flakes.  

5. Label Remover (Air Separator)

 – Detaches and removes labels and caps through air separation.  

6. Washing Line – Includes hot washing, friction washing, and chemical cleaning to remove contaminants.  

7. Screw Feeder – Transports washed flakes to the next stage.  

8. Dewatering Machine – Removes excess water from cleaned flakes.  

9. Drying System (Hot Air Dryer or Centrifuge) – Ensures flakes are completely dry before further processing.

Unpacking machine

The motor is equipped with a matching reducer to reduce the load inertia of the motor and ensure the long-term normal operation of the motor

The frequency conversion material is used, and the unpacking rate can be adjusted to ensure the best unpacking rate. The unpacking speed is adjusted by the frequency converter

The unpacking roller material is made of manganese steel, heat-treated to make the material firm and durable.

Compression ratio, aspect ratio, shearing, mixing, and exhaust will be designed in a targeted manner.

Cold water rinse tank

Preliminary rinse of PET bottle flakes and separation of bottle caps and some labels

Control the degree of contamination of the cleaning liquid by the high-temperature cleaning unit

Horizontal dehydrator

Remove oil and other impurities to reduce moisture. The part in contact with water and materials is 304 stainless steel. Spindle rotation diameter: f650mm. Speed: 1500rpm. The dehydration rate is more than 90%.

Hot washing tank

Remove oil and other impurities to separate adhesives. The part in contact with water and materials is 304 stainless steel. The bottom screen is separated by upper feeding and lower spiral lifting, so that the bottle flakes are soaked in water for 8-15 minutes.

Label sorter

Remove oil and other impurities to reduce moisture. The part in contact with water and materials is 304 stainless steel. Spindle rotation diameter: ∮650mm. Speed: 1500rpm. The dehydration rate is more than 90%
