I. Product Overview
The rubber powder grinder machine serves as the core crushing equipment in the intermediate stage of a waste tire recycling line. It is an open-type, dual-roll machine. Two chilled alloy cast-iron rolls are mounted in parallel on a heavy-duty frame and driven by a hardened-gear reducer and a set of speed-ratio gears. The front and rear rolls rotate toward each other at different linear speeds (with a speed ratio ranging from 1:1.30 to 1:1.38). This speed differential generates powerful shear and compressive forces within the roll nip, tearing rubber chunks (typically 50–100 mm in size) into rubber granules or powder. Simultaneously, it facilitates the separation of the rubber from steel cords and bead wires, preparing the material for subsequent stages such as magnetic separation, fine grinding, and screening.
Key Design Features:
Hollow Rolls: These allow for the circulation of steam or cooling water to precisely control the roll surface temperature, preventing rubber scorching under heavy-duty operating conditions and ensuring stable, efficient performance even in high-temperature environments.
Chilled Alloy Cast-Iron Rolls: Featuring high surface hardness and an excellent finish, these rolls offer superior wear resistance and a long service life, capable of supporting continuous, round-the-clock operation.
Adjustable Roll Nip (up to 8–15 mm): The gap can be adjusted to control the output particle size, ensuring precise compatibility with downstream grinding and screening processes.
Hardened-Gear Reducer: Provides smooth power transmission, low noise levels, and minimal maintenance requirements.
Available in various models—from the compact XKP-400 to the large-scale XKP-610—this series caters to a wide range of production capacities. The machines can be purchased individually or integrated as the core component of a complete rubber powder production line.

III. Product Advantages
High-Efficiency Differential-Speed Shearing: Features a speed ratio of 1:1.30–1:1.38, providing strong shearing force for rapid rubber breakdown and high output.
Integrated Steel Wire Separation: Rubber is stripped from steel wire during the crushing process, significantly reducing the workload for downstream magnetic separation.
Chilled Alloy Cast Iron Rollers: High surface hardness, excellent wear resistance, and long service life, ensuring consistent output particle size.
Adjustable Roller Temperature: Hollow rollers allow for the circulation of steam or cooling water, preventing scorching and ensuring adaptability to various climatic conditions.
Hardened-Tooth-Surface Gearbox Drive: Ensures smooth operation, low noise levels, and minimal maintenance costs.
Adjustable Roller Gap: Allows for precise control over output particle size, supporting the production of various specifications ranging from 5 to 60 mesh.
CE/ISO Certified: Suitable for export to markets in Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
